Alice Cooper has revealed why he "never swears".
The rocker insists that he has stopped using rude words nowadays, preferring to express himself in other ways. He got used to cussing a lot in his younger years but a conversation with his parents made him reconsider his language.
"I accidentally swore one time when I was talking to my parents on the phone and really felt bad about it. I was out in LA, f**king this and f**king that. I was living in the rock world where that word became normal. Now I never use it. Ever," he told British magazine Q.
The 64-year-old rocker recalled the incident that changed his naughty habit.
Despite his scary on-stage persona, the musician admitted a telling-off from his father put him off using profanities.
"I think it was because I said it to my mom. It was just a remark about spaghetti or something - f**king spaghetti - and my dad said, 'Hey!' That cured me of swearing right there," he laughed.
