In the 70s Alice Cooper was every parents nightmare. Those were the days of the fake blood, guillotines, electric chairs and dead babies. He is no longer every parents nightmare because those kids from the 70s are now the parents and grandparents of today.
You've all seen that scene in Wayne's World 'we've not worthy'. Well, after 40 years and some of the greatest rock albums ever made, Alice is worthy of us not being worthy.
In 2011, at age 63, Alice Cooper has just delivered an album that stands proudly alongside his greatest works of the 70s. Welcome 2 My Nightmare is the sequel to his 1975 classic Welcome To My Nightmare.
Noise11's Paul Cashmere sat down with Alice to extract part of one of rock's greatest stories.
