Amanda Bynes' behaviors have reached a crescendo, as the former Nickelodeon star has just arrived to New York City court to face a judge about her bong-throwing last night, witnessed by a police officer.
Bynes was led into the courtroom in handcuffs after spending the night in jail, as TMZ reports the troubled actress was wearing a platinum wig.
Bynes was booked for marijuana possession, tampering with evidence and reckless endangerment after she hurled a large glass bong out of her apartment window. The repercussions of that action could have caused great bodily harm or even death if the item hit someone dead on.
Bynes' troubles seemingly began on March 7, 2012, when she was pulled over by West Hollywood police for cell phone usage while driving. She subsequently fled from the scene before the deputy could finish writing up her ticket. Astoundingly she was not arrested and returned to the station to sign her ticket.
Then, Bynes earned a DUI on April 6, 2012, arrested and charged with a misdemeanor DUI after a car accident with a police cruiser.
Bynes reportedly hit a car on the 101 freeway in Los Angeles' San Fernando Valley, on April 10 then flees the scene, per published reports. She begins her denials of her actions on Twitter.
Bynes is pulled over by LAPD in Hollywood, this time after she allegedly sideswiped a man's car with her Range Rover in May. No arrests are made.
Her luck runs out in June, as Bynes is charged in a Los Angeles court with driving under the influence. She pleads not guilty.
The actress continues to get in trouble. In August, LAPD investigate a report that Bynes had another hit-and-run accident when she rear-ended a BMW, then failed to provide the owner of the car with her insurance information as required by law before taking off.
Again, in August, Bynes has ANOTHER car accident after she's rear-ended by another driver. However, this time it is handled without police.
Fall sees Bynes charged with two misdemeanor counts of hit-and-run stemming from the two prior incidents. The California Department of Motor Vehicles revokes her license in September. Bynes is pulled over again in September, the charge was driving without her headlights on. Finally September ends with her vehicle being impounded by police after she is caught her driving with a suspended license.
The news continues to be bad. Bynes misses a scheduled November pretrial hearing in her hit-and-run cases.
Reports are surfacing that the actress is behaving in a bizarre manner, appearing intoxicated on some substance in public and posting inappropriate pictures of herself online.
She caught a break in December, as the judge dismisses hit-and-run charges after Bynes' victims signed civil compromise forms indicating they had "full satisfaction."
Early spring continues the strange behavior and off remarks, especially the infamous Drake tweet. Her family is concerned and tries to intervene.
Bynes threatens to sue tabloids Us Weekly and PerezHilton.com over their negative coverage of her antics. More disturbing Twitter feed is posted. Subsequent behaviors oust her from a gym membership, and she cuts her hair dramatically.
May, before the bong incident, sees Amanda ratchet up the volume on her bad behaviors, pleading no contest to a charge of driving with a suspended license. She is sentenced to three years of summary probation and ordered to pay a fine of $1,400.
