Amy Winehouse was reunited with Blake Fielder-Civil for a 36-hour love-in.
The troubled singer met with her ex-husband in Sheffield, England - where he is an outpatient at a drug rehabilitation centre – where, to the anger of her family, they are said to have rekindled their romance.
A source told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "The romance is back on and everyone is frantic with worry.
"They have vowed to one another never to get back into drugs. But together they just went into self-destruct mode - and it was their separation that saved them."
The pair are said to have met on Sunday (06.12.0) and stayed at a secret location. The pair were even careful to venture to the balcony separately, so they wouldn't be seen together.
Blake, 31, was later spotted sporting a new tattoo of Amy's face on his hand.
Amy's father, Mitch, has been very vocal in denouncing Blake – whose divorce from Amy, 26, was finalised at the end of August – as he blames him for Amy's spiral into drug addiction, which she is presently recovering from.
Since divorcing, the couple have been flirting secretly on website Facebook and are rumoured to be planning to remarry after Blake finishes his court-imposed rehab next February.
Blake's mother, Georgette, said: "He'll be straight back with Amy in London. I know it won't be long before I get a call from Blake saying, 'Mum, I'm at the airport and we're flying off to get married.' "
Mitch has reportedly been preparing a pre-nuptial agreement for his daughter in case Amy and Blake do remarry.
A source claimed: "Mitch has seen a solicitor. He is doing everything he can to protect his daughter. He thinks Blake brings nothing but heartache."
