Amy Winehouse's new man is "looking after" her.
The 'Rehab' singer - who has battled drink and drug addictions - revealed her new boyfriend, director Reg Traviss, is a "lovely man".
When asked how the fledging relationship was going, Amy told BANG Showbiz: "Yeah, yeah it's going good. He's a lovely man and he's looking after me."
The singer hasn't released a new album since 'Back to Black' in 2006, but it seems Reg is also having a positive influence on her music career.
Speaking at the Reebok VICEstyle.com launch party in London last night (24.06.10), she said: "The new album is going really well. I'm really focused on it."
The beehive-haired star arrived at the event wearing a low-cut black vest - which showed off her new boobs - skinny jeans and pumps, with her trademark tattoos on display.
It's not only Amy who is impressed with her new man. Her family are also said to be delighted she has ended her romance with ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil to embark on a relationship with Reg.
Her father Mitch Winehouse said: "I'm happy she's got a new boyfriend. I'm happy that she's moving on with her life. He's a good guy."
