Her family believe that she stayed in and played the drums, but Tony Azzopardi has claimed that she asked him to buy drugs for her, and handed over £1,200 for crack cocaine and heroin.
The Mirror reported that Azzopardi, who has drink and drug convictions, yesterday spent 30 minutes being questioned by police investigating the 27-year-old's death. Now they have turned to the security cameras outside her North London home to help piece together her final hours.
'There are enough cameras in the area to get a picture of her movements,' said a source. 'It's a painstaking operation which involves going through tens of hours of footage.'
Azzopardi, 56, is due to meet detectives again today, Wednesday, for another interview but Scotland Yard has said there have been no arrests linked to Amy's death.
