The troubled singer, 27, checked into rehab at The Priory last week, where doctors are said to have dealt her a few home truths.
A source told The Sun, 'It's the last chance saloon for Amy. Doctors have come down hard on her because of the severity of her situation. It's a harsh reality but she had to hear it.'
The Back To Black singer was admitted to the clinic several times between 2007 and 2009 while she was battling a drug addiction, and father Mitch and boyfriend Reg Traviss are believed to have begged her to seek help again – this time for alcohol.
The source added, 'They are worried about her. Mitch has been down this road before during Amy's drug addiction. But she is there of her own accord this time and wants to sort herself out.'
