Amy Winehouse's father Mitch has thanked fans who have paid tribute to his late daughter.
The singer's father was speaking to the media outside the flat where Winehouse was found dead on Saturday (July 25) at the age of 27.
"Amy was about one thing and that was love. Her whole life was devoted to her family and her friends and to you guys as well," he said as he address fans and waiting media.

In a separate statement, Winehouse's family said her death “leaves a gaping hole in our lives”.
Earlier, police confirmed that a post-mortem would take place later to determine how the singer died.
Winehouse had battled drug and alcohol addition, but had recently thought to be overcoming her problems.
