Amy Winehouse has refused to pay for her husband's £30,000 rehab stay.
The 'Back to Black' singer, whose spouse Blake Fielder-Civil was released from prison and sent straight to a treatment facility on Wednesday (05.11.08), has decided Blake needs to take responsibility for cleaning up his life if their marriage is to survive.
A source told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "Blake thought he would click his fingers and Amy would give him £30,000. But so far she has refused and he is not happy."
Blake was freed from jail after serving less than half of his 27-month sentence for grievous bodily harm and perverting the course of justice. It has been claimed his early release was on the condition he undergoes a seven-week treatment programme for his drug addiction at the Life Works Community centre in Surrey. He is not allowed to leave the facility for a week, but is already desperate to see his wife.
Blake said: "Tell Amy, 'I love you and I wish I could be with you.' I just can't wait to get this over and done with and see Amy again."
The 26-year-old must also wear an electronic tag and adhere to a curfew under the terms of his release. As he left Edmunds Hill prison in Suffolk earlier this week, Blake seemed oblivious to Amy's concerns about their relationship and vowed to "take her knickers down" when the pair were reunited.
Amy, 25, was not at the prison to meet Blake and is reportedly worried their marriage is beyond repair. Last night (06.11.08), Amy was believed to be at her North London home seeking comfort from friends.
