The 'Rehab' singer went along to the City Burlesque nightspot in London to support father Mitch, who was topping the bill at the venue's opening night cabaret show, but couldn't resist grabbing the mic herself.
Just minutes before Mitch began his set Amy was spotted hurriedly talking to organisers seemingly planning her spontaneous set.
The 27-year-old pop star took to the stage in a leopard-print dress and beige stilettos and was sporting her trademark beehive hair style.
Before she started singing, Amy ' who had seemingly been enjoying a few alcoholic drinks - quipped to the crowd: 'This is my dad playing. Shut up, shut up, shut up, or I will not be held responsible for my actions.'
Amy was her usual effervescent self and at one point sat down on a bass drum to sing, before Mitch ' who has swapped taxi-driving for a music career ' joined her for an impromptu duet.
After her performance, Amy surprised one grey-haired man in the audience by sitting on his lap and snuggling into him.
At the end of the evening she was helped out of the club by two men.
This was the singer's second performance in a week. On Wednesday (06.10.10) she sang at her local pub The Hawley Arms, in Camden, north London, and debuted new tracks to the delight of fans.
