At her first public gig since 2008, Amy Winehouse did not premiere any of her long-awaited new material, as expected. Instead, the British songstress treated the crowd at Brazil's Summer Soul Festival on Saturday (Jan. 8) to covers and hits off her breakthrough 2006 record, "Back to Black."
At one point during her performance in Florianopolis, Brazil, Winehouse went for a classic cover that showed off her pipes nicely. "Boulevard of Broken Dreams," a song from the 1934 film "Moulin Rouge" that has been covered most famously by Tony Bennett, was Winehouse's cover of choice during the first of five dates in Brazil this month.
