Mitch and Janis Winehouse, the parents of Amy Winehouse, have spoken with fans outside the late singer's Camden apartment.
Amy's home at Camden Square NW1 in London has turned into a memorial since her death was announced on Saturday. Thousands of fans have visited the site.
Amy's dad Mitch was in New York when he heard of his daughter's death and flew home immediately.
Outside his daughter's home he addressed the fans saying "I know a lot of you, we've been together for five, six years, I know you've got a job to do. I'm glad you're all here anyway. And you people in the street, I can't tell you what this means to us. It really is making this a lot easier for us."
He then added, "Amy was about one thing, and that was love. Her whole life was devoted to her family and her friends and to you guys as well. We're devastated, and I'm speechless, but thanks for coming."
The funeral of Amy Winehouse will take place in London this today.
