Amy Winehouse performs an exclusive surprise in-store gig at the Fred Perry shop in Spitalfields, London to celebrate the launch of her collaboration collection with the iconic fashion brand
Fred Perry and music go back a long way and to celebrate the launch of Amy Winehouse's new AW10 range for the brand she performed the exclusive gig last night playing a stripped down 4 song set with her regular keyboardist Sam Beste, throwing out songs as they went along.
A jazz soaked Love Is A Losing game, followed by a sublime version of Duke Ellington's Caravan and a beautiful Lullaby of Birdland. The surprise conclusion was Oasis song Don't Look Back In Anger, with Amy crediting Carleen Anderson's version, describing her as 'the best singer in England.'
The audience was made up of competition winners, plus friends and family for the informal evening, Amy sporting her self designed Argyle jumper dress from her Fred Perry AW10 Collection.
