Amy Winehouse has cancelled the remaining dates on her European tour following her much-publicised performance in Serbia at the weekend.
The singer was booed throughout her 90-minute set in Belgrade.
The performance was the first of 12 scheduled dates, but a spokesperson for the star said the decision had been taken to cancel the rest of the tour.
“Despite feeling sure that she wanted to fulfill these commitments, she has agreed with management that she cannot perform to the best of her ability and will return home,” a spokesperson told the Daily Mail.
“She would like to apologize to fans expecting to see her at the shows but feels that this is the right thing to do.”
Meanwhile, The Sun reports that Winehouse may not be on stage again “for years” following her Belgrade date.
