Amy Winehouse staggers through a troublesome 'comeback' show in Belgrade and cancels the next two European shows.
It was a sad state of affairs in Belgrade, Serbia, the first show on Amy Winehouse's comeback tour around Europe.
Reports and fan-shot footage tell of a dazed Winehouse, who showed up almost an hour late to the gig, dropped her microphone and wandered off-stage, grunted and mumbled through songs and was jeered and booed by parts of the 20,000-strong crowd.
Her PR company notes that she has cancelled her next two dates in Istanbul and Athens this week.
A statement read, "The singer would like to say sorry to fans expecting to see her in Turkey and Greece, but feels that this is the right thing to do.
"Despite feeling sure that she wanted to fulfill these commitments, she has agreed with management that she cannot perform to the best of her ability and will return home.'
The statement read that her other Euro dates, including Switzerland and Spain, would be "worked out as soon as possible'.
There's some footage of the show, shot by YouTube user Zeljko Ramone, below.
