Amy Winehouse is set to renew her wedding vows with Blake Fielder-Civil in prison.
The 'Rehab' singer hopes the ceremony will be a boost for Blake, who is currently being held at London's Pentonville Prison awaiting trial for conspiracy to pervert the course of justice and grievous bodily harm (GBH).
Amy is planning to visit Blake on Friday (04.01.08) and the couple will reaffirm their commitment to each other in a low-key service.
A source told Britain's Daily Star newspaper: "When Blake was first arrested, they both declared their undying love for each other and promised each other it would be good to renew their vows. And the time feels right to do that now. They are missing each other terribly.
"Amy wants them to repeat the same vows they took when they married in Miami last May."
The 24-year-old 'Back to Black' singer is currently staying at rocker Bryan Adams' villa on the Caribbean island of Mustique. She is believed to be attempting to beat her drug addictions.
Blake is accused of attempting to bribe James King, the landlord of Macbeth's public house in Hoxton, to withdraw his allegation of GBH against the 25-year-old.
He will remain in custody until January 18 for a plea and directions
hearing.
