Andy Burrows has announced details of a UK tour in February 2013. Burrows, whose superb solo album, Company, was released last month, will play shows that include a date at London's Bush Hall on February 21st, with tickets on sale today now here.
As previously announced, Andy Burrows has - with the composer Ilan Eskeri - written the soundtrack for Channel 4's Christmas highlight, The Snowman and The Snowdog, the sequel to the Raymond Briggs-penned, Oscar-winning classic that was first broadcast 30 years ago. Created by many of the same team that first brought the much-loved Snowman to life, the sequel carries the magic of the first film, with a modern score by Eshkeri and Burrows that underpins the tale to stunning effect.
The film's official single Light The Night, written by Andy and Ilan and performed by Andy, features in the iconic flying sequence of The Snowman and The Snowdog, just as Walking in the Air featured in the flying sequence of The Snowman in 1982.
Light The Night is released on December 10th, along with the album version of Andy's Hometown single.
