The city council in Buffalo, New York, has given the OK for a loan to Ani DiFranco.
The council voted to approve a funding plan that will lend two-point-seven million dollars to DiFranco's Righteous Babe Records. The record company plans to use the money to renovate a former church into a performing arts center and company headquarters.
