AnnaSophia Robb loves dancing to music from the '80s.
The young actress plays iconic character Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the City prequel The Carrie Diaries.
Set in the '80s, the 19-year-old star can relate to the era thanks to her love of music from that decade.
"I love it. I was one of those weird kids who just loved '80s music and never knew the now music," she laughed to British magazine OK!
"I was always listening to the Kinks and Duran Duran and Michael Jackson. I love just '80s music – it's so fun to dance to!"
The series follows the life of Carrie as she explores New York City and tries to forge out a career as a writer.
AnnaSophia believes things are a little easier for young girls now than in the '80s.
"I think it's hard for me to say whether or not and what it was like back then versus now. But now kids have a little bit more power and a little bit more control," she explained.
"With technology and the way things are going, I think that kids grow up a lot faster. I think back then it was more of a struggle."
