Ashton Kutcher's debut on Two and a Half Men has been slammed by a member of the show's staff, who claimed he is not as funny as predecessor Charlie Sheen.
Kutcher's first appearance on the sitcom drew an audience of 27.8 million to CBS, where the husband of Demi Moore plays internet billionaire Walden Schmidt.
An insider told E! Online: "He's just not as funny as Charlie. Not that we'd want Charlie back if you doubled our salaries.2
Another added: "[Ashton] is really a nice guy. Just a nice guy. And he's OK on set. He gets the job done - that's what we all want."
Sheen's character, Charlie Harper, was killed off after the actor got involved in a protracted war of words with creator Chuck Lorre.
