Attis Lights have also had their forthcoming single, Wendy, released on October 6th, remixed by legendary Glasgow band The Vaselines. This is the first remix ever done by The Vaselines.
Made up of Eugene Kelly & Frances McKee, The Vaselines recently played their first shows in over 15 years when they appeared at the Sub Pop anniversary party in Seattle. Revered at the time courtesy of their debut album for the seminal 53rd & 3rd label in 1987, the band came to major prominence when long-time fan Kurt Cobain included covers of Molly's Lips and Jesus Wants Me For A Sunbeam on Nirvana releases.
Also, coming soon, an amazing 'Pet Sounds-esque' mix of Wendy from Camera Obscura.
Attic Lights are: Kev Sherry (vocals / guitar), Colin McArdle (vocals / bass), Jamie Houston (guitar / vocals), Tim Davidson (guitar) & Noel O'Donell (drums / vocals).
