Formerly-punkish poppet Avirl Lavigne gets classy on her forthcoming album Goodbye Lullaby.
Judging from the cover ' Lavinge in a white frock perched atop a black grand piano in a forest ' it might be a more subdued and mature set of songs.
Then again, judging by the title of the first song she's debut on US television at New Years ' 'What The Hell' ' we might be completely wrong.
Those who helped her out on Goodbye Lullaby include her recently-ex-husband Deryck Whibley of Sum 41 infamy, pop producing giant Max Martin, and producer Butch Walker, who worked on her last two albums.
There is also word that she's got a tune with that ever-so-trendy girl group revival sound called 'Stop Standing There' on the album.
Goodbye Lullaby will be her fourth album, and it'll be out on March 8 next year.
