The Backstreet Boys were 'honoured' to receive a Hollywood star on the Walk of Fame yesterday (22.04.13).
The group - formed of A.J. McLean, Nick Carter, Kevin Richardson, Howie Dorough and Brian Littrell - were presented with the 2,495th commemorative plaque on the world famous sidewalks.
All the band members were in attendance to unveil the star located near the Live Nation building in the 7000 block of Hollywood Boulevard and their tribute is also near Boyz II Men's star.
Addressing a crowd of fans, Kevin Richardson, 40, said: 'What an honour it is. What a beautiful day. What another beautiful way to celebrate 20 years together.'
Nick, 33, added: 'Backstreet is Back ... and we aren't going anywhere.'
The Backstreet Boys also marked their 20th anniversary with a fan celebration at the Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles last Saturday (20.04.12).
The band - who welcomed Kevin back last year after he took some time out - will also release a new album later this year and are set to head out on tour in May and the shows will be filmed for a tour documentary which is being directed by Katy Perry's 'Part of Me 3D' co-producer Stephen Kijak.
The group have the highest record sales of any boy band of all time, shifting 130 million records worldwide since first forming in 1993.
