Overview
Fox 2000 has picked up an untitled Beach Boys project which centers around the band's music but one thing is for sure: it is not a biopic. The project is being produced by Craig Zadan and Neil Meron, the team that brought you Hairspray. Even John Stamos is involved as a producer; Stamos actually toured with the Beach Boys as a drummer and he also appeared in the "Kokomo" video.
This film will follow the structure of Mamma Mia!, which erected a story around the music of ABBA.
