Fifteen acts have been nominated for inclusion in the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame.
The biggest names are probably Neil Diamond, Beastie Boys, Bon Jovi, Alice Cooper and Tom Waits.
Also up for entry are Chic, Donovan, Dr. John, J. Geils Band, LL Cool J, Darlene Love, Laura Nyro, Donna Summer, Joe Tex, and Chuck Willis.
Five hundred industry voters have been sent ballots to select who will be inducted.
The inductees will be announced in December and the ceremony will be held in March next year at the Waldorf Astoria in New York.
To be eligible, artists must have released their first single or album at least 25 years ago.
Last year's inductees were ABBA, Genesis, Jimmy Cliff, The Hollies, and The Stooges.
