Overview
Beastie Boys have been confirmed to headline Australasia's 2005 Big Day Out festival.
The annual festival takes place between January 21â€"February 6 and will call at six major cities throughout New Zealand and Australia.
Other bands announced on the bill so far include The Music, System Of A Down, The Donnas, The Streets and The Chemical Brothers.
Dates are as follows:
Auckland Ericsson Stadium, New Zealand (January 21)
Gold Coast Parklands (23)
Sydney Showground (26)
Melbourne RAS Showground (30)
Adelaide Royal Showground (February 4)
Perth Claremont Showgrounds (February 6)
More acts are due to be announced mid November, with tickets on sale on October 15.
