Ben Howard kicks off his huge UK tour on Monday week with a homecoming show in Truro (13th Feb) before heading out on a run of sold-out dates that includes two back-to-back nights at London's Shepherd's Bush Empire.
On Zane Lowe's Radio 1 show Ben (and his band) performed a brand new track in the form of 'Oats in the Water'. Clocking in at 5 minutes, it finds Ben on electric guitar and seems a natural companion to the brooding 'Black Flies' - one of the stand-out tracks from his debut album 'Every Kingdom'.
You can give it a listen/ watch the session video here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p00nsr4g
Ben releases his new single 'The Wolves' on the 27th February via Island Records. It's taken from 'Every Kingdom', which climbed into the Top 10 on release last year. 'The Wolves' is currently B-listed on Radio 1.
