Announces details of the release of the first track from his forthcoming album.
Steve Mason has announced the release of the first material from his forthcoming album, Boys Outside, which will be released through Richard X's label Black Melody in March 2010.
All Come Down, already getting played by the likes of Huw Stephens, Mary Anne Hobbs, Rob Da Bank and Vic Galloway on Radio One as well as John Kennedy on XFM, will be available digitally on December 7th 2009.
Following the implosion of the Beta Band a few years back, Steve Mason recorded as both King Biscuit Time and Black Affair - both largely electronic based projects. 18-months ago he went back to basics, picked up the guitar and started on tracks which reflected his amazing song-writing talents.
Having enlisted Richard X to work on production the resulting record is laden with beautiful melodies and simple songs that do justice to Steve's undoubted abilities. It's the album that he was always going to make, a future classic.
Live shows are planned for 2010 after the album release. For further information prior to the release the place to go to find all the social & media links, mailing lists, free stuff and info iswww.stevemasontheartist.com
