Biffy Clyro new single in January

Currently riding a wave of success that looks set to confirm their place as one of the biggest and most vital bands on the current rock scene, Biffy Clyro will build on that momentum with the January 18th release of their new single 'Many of Horror' on 14th Floor Records.

Produced by GGGarth Richardson (Rage Against The Machine, Red Hot Chili Peppers) and mixed by Andy Wallace (Nirvana, Coldplay), the soaring power of the hauntingly romantic 'Many of Horror' is one of the many highlights of their critically acclaimed new album 'Only Revolutions' that has earned praise from all quarters of the press.

'Many of Horror' will be issued on two coloured vinyl formats as well as CD and digital download. Each format will be backed with a brand new b-side.

Coming after the mammoth success of fourth album 'Puzzle', which entered the charts at #2 and marked Biffy Clyro's transformation into a truly world beating band, Only Revolutions is a further step-up for the Ayrshire trio in an album filled with joy, grit and absolute determination.

After the overwhelming sadness of Puzzle, Only Revolutions sees a more hopeful side to Biffy Clyro. The songs are perfectly crafted and full of the idiosyncrasies that define the band's unique take on contemporary rock. The album is heralded with the military thump of 'The Captain' before it erupts into a rush of serrated riffs and euphoric horns. Further highlights include the stripped down agony / ecstasy dilemma of 'God and Satan', the visceral nastiness of 'Shock Shock' and a special collaboration with Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme on the epic stand-out anthem 'Bubbles'. Multiple Grammy-winning composer David Campbell - who has worked with an array of legendary talents including Marvin Gaye, Bob Dylan, Metallica and Radiohead, and who won an Oscar for the score to 'Brokeback Mountain' – contributes lush orchestration throughout

Biffy Clyro are currently concluding a sold-out UK tour that has already included two rapturously homecoming shows at Glasgow Barrowland. After the tour concludes with a headline show at London's Brixton Academy, the band will join Muse on their tour of mainland Europe.
