Biffy Clyro have revealed that work on their new album is nearly done.
The band are currently putting the finishing touches to the follow-up to their 2009 album 'Only Revolutions'.
''We know what kind of album we're going to make. We know how it's going to play out, the structure of it," frontman Simon Neil told BBC Newsbeat.
He added: "It's just a case of getting it done. We're champing at the bit. Bands have to keep moving forward. Any band that sits for a few years not writing songs is in trouble."
Biffy Clyro's last album 'Only Revolutions' was released in 2009 and nominated for the Mercury Prize. The band have yet to announce details of a release date for their as-yet-untitled new album.
Meanwhile, Biffy Clyro will support the Foo Fighters at their previously announced show in Milton Keynes next month.
