Q Magazine are delighted to announce that multi-platinum Scottish rockers BIFFY CLYRO are to play a special acoustic show for The Q Awards the night before the ceremony itself.
The band who are nominated for two Q Awards including Best Act In The World Today will be performing an intimate 45 minute set at The Jazz Café in Camden on the 20th of October.
Due to the high demand for this show, all tickets will be sold through a ballot system for both Team Biffy and Q Readers, with Team Biffy's ballot opening at 9am on Thursday, 3rd October through to Monday, 7th October at midday. Q Readers will have their own ballot opening on Monday, 7th October at midday through to Wednesday, 9th October, fans can enter the ballot at www.qthemusic.com. All successful applicants will receive confirmation when the ballots close with details of how to book. No tickets will be sent out.
The successful applicant will need to bring a print out of their booking confirmation along with valid ID in exchange for a wristband. All net proceeds from the show will go to Yorkhill Children's Charity in Glasgow.
Based at the Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Glasgow, Yorkhill Children's Charity provides and supports excellence in paediatric, obstetric and neonatal healthcare enhancing the treatment, care and wellbeing of children and their families through hospital and community based services both nationally and internationally.
BIFFY CLYRO join the best line up of Q Awards The Gigs shows to date which includes SUEDE, JOHN GRANT, TOY, JAGWAR MA, THE VIEW and THE RUEN BROTHERS.
