Biffy Clyro have teased plans to release a double album this summer.
The band, who are currently working on the anticipated follow-up to 2009's 'Only Revolutions', said that they have recorded over 30 demo tracks and plan to head back into the studio in April.
Speaking to Q Magazine, frontman Simon Neil said: "We're going to make a double album, so the intention is to do most of the recording in LA and then do more of it elsewhere.
"We'll hopefully get it done by April, May and go out and play some shows. The album might come out before summer but it's likely to be just after that."
The band have yet to announce details of a release date for their as-yet-untitled new album.
Meanwhile, Biffy Clyro have among the acts confirmed for this year's Isle of Wight festival. For more information about Isle Of Wight and all this summer's festivals, check out the Gigwise Festival Guide.
