Big Brovaz have been axed by their record label after their latest single failed to make the top ten.
Their new release - called Yours Fatally - entered this week's charts at No15.
Big Brovaz - J-Rock, Randy, Nadia, Cherise and Dion - have been plagued by problems since band member Flawless was kicked out in March.
Flawless was deported from the US after being caught in possession of marijuana.
In August 2003 J-Rock was arrested for the same offence in Germany.
The group haven't had a Top Ten single since Baby Boy last September.
Sony has now refused to renew the band's contract.
A source said: "A lot of heat has been on the band since the drug stories.
"The cannabis connection didn't go down well with the label and the band have been skating on thin ice since. The latest single was their last chance but the damage had already been done."
The Mobo-winning band - who burst on to the scene in 2002 with Nu Flow - built a big following touring schools, warning kids to stay off drugs.
