Last month, Big K.R.I.T.'s manager, Johnny Shipes, took to Twitter to inform K.R.I.T.'s fans that his debut effort, "Live From The Underground," would be pushed back. "Big K.R.I.T. #livefromtheunderground isnt droppin 9.27 anymore moved 2 top of the next year. #goodtalk," Shipes tweeted.
K.R.I.T. recently explained the album delay to Steve- Ography. "'Live From The Underground' as ya'll know got pushed back to January 2012, but it was for the best," K.R.I.T. said. "You know some sample clearances here and there, some features that I need to take care of. And also being able to shoot videos like this with 8Ball & MJG and 2 Chainz. It's just getting the quality right and getting the ideas right, making it all work and fit together."
Big K.R.I.T. is making moves despite the album delay. K.R.I.T. produced and appears on T.I.'s first single since freed from prison, "I'm Flexin." "I had the opportunity to produce the first single [since] the homey got out, "I'm Flexin.' I'm also on the hook man so it's like that's crazy," K.R.I.T. said. "I can't wait for ya'll to see the BET [Hip Hop] awards too. I can't say no more about it but trust me it's gonna be crazy too man."
Check out the BET Hip-Hop Awards on Oct. 11 to see what K.R.I.T. has planned.
