Billy Bragg, the Dirty Pretty Things and the Bluetones will join forces on the Sunday night at this years Glastonbury Left Field in support of prisoner rehabilitation projects Jail Guitar Doors and Real Fits.
Jail Guitar Doors is the initiative set up by Billy to put guitars and other instruments in to prisons in memory of the late Joe Strummer. Real Fits encourages prisoners to get involved in journalism and creative writing.
A week before Glastonbury, Real Fits will be hosting a London benefit at the Round Chapel in Hackney on 20th June where Dirty Pretty Things and Mark Morris from the Bluetones will be joined by Reverend and the Makers to raise money for the project. Reverend and the Makers are playing Saturday night at Glastonbury Left Field.
