Billy Corgan moves in with Courtney Love

Courtney Love and Billy Corgan's musical relationship has resulted in the Smashing Pumpkins frontman and producer moving into her new Hollywood Hills mansion temporarily, Sound Generator can report.

In what would likely be pure gold reality TV, Corgan agreed to temporarily relocate from his Chicago neighbourhood to work with Love, and fellow producer Linda Perry on the new album, due out in the winter.

"Not many people know this, but Billy's been living with me for the last four months," Courtney reveals to Fox News correspondent Roger Friedman. Love recently offloaded 25 per cent of the Nirvana song catalogue and sold a number of other properties to afford a plush California mansion, which comes with a grand ballroom.

She adds, "Billy has one wing, Frances (Bean - her 13-year-old daughter) has another and I have one."
