Billy Corgan would really rather not ring in the New Year on stage, because from a musician's standpoint, it stinks. Corgan says he's played New Year's Eve shows a couple of times and they're "nightmare shows."
He quit doing them in the early 1990's. He says the "weekend warriors" are not out to see a band so much as to get drunk.
