Billy Corgan has been taken ill whilst on tour in Europe.
The Smashing Pumpkins frontman started showing symptoms of illness just before taking to the stage in Madrid on December 7, but was able to play the gig after receiving attention from local medics.
Corgan Tweeted: "Spent the whole day puking from food poisoning. But the docs here in Madrid got me up and runnin. Gonna be a fascinating show (sic)."
The current Smashing Pumpkins lineup wraps up their European tour with shows at Campo Pequeno in Lisbon, Portugal tonight and on Friday (Dec 8, 9).
The band are currently putting the finishing touches on Oceania, their ninth studio album, and one that is expected to be released in 2012.
