Lawnfest, the one-day family festival, will back for its fifth year on July 6th, 2013 at The New West Heath School, Sevenoaks, Kent. Encapsulating all that is wonderful and magical about family festivals Lawnfest is truly one of summer's hidden gems.
Loved by festivalgoers of every generation, this is the perfect family day out in every sense of the word. The festival was set up as a non-profit event to help fund bursaries for The New West Heath School, a charity that helps rebuild the lives of traumatised children.
Set across 32 acres of the Kent countryside, Lawnfest welcomes back the very popular Kids' Garden area and musical heroes Man Like Me. Joining Man Like Me on the main stage will be Josephine, Sam Gray, Lulu James and BBC Kent's very own and host for the day, Sean Rowley, plus more acts will be announced.
Throughout the day a fine medley of fun filled happenings will keep all the family entertained. The festival attracts many famous faces including the Queen of Pop herself, Madonna. In the Lawnfest Village, a selection of food and drinks will be available alongside the Lawnfest Boutique and very special raffle. What more could you ask for on a summer's day?
