Glen Hughes (Deep Purple, Black Sabbath) has announced on Twitter that Black Country Communion will begin recording their second album in January.
Studio is booked in LA for BCC 2 in January... good times people... its all about the music... GH
BCC is made up of Hughes, blues guitarist Joe Bonamassa, keyboardist Derek Sherinian (Dream Theater, Billy Idol, Alice Cooper) and drummer Jason Bonham (Led Zeppelin, Foreigner).
Their debut album, which came out in early October, was a disappointment in the U.S. where it premiered at 54 and fell to 179 in its second and final week on the Album chart. Compared to the other two recent "supergroups", Chickenfoot and Them Crooked Vultures, this had to be a disappointment.
