Black Eyed Peas have denied recent rumours that they are splitting up.
The band appeared on US talk show Ellen and insisted that they are taking a long break to each pursue solo projects.
''We always have two cycles of records and then take a break. When we take breaks we work on side-projects or get a little personal stuff in order to then come back and make beautiful music,'' Will.I.Am explained on Ellen.
When asked whether Fergie would be using the time to start a family, she replied:
"Yes, Taboo did an interview the other day and it was lovely because I'm now on baby bump watch!"
She joked: "It's when paparazzi go right into your stomach - it's really a lot of fun. But yeah, that's one of the things I want to do.
"I've been touring since 2003 and like anything, things get monotonous and you end up doing the same things every night. I'd like to go days without wearing any make-up!"
