It was Blink-182's turn to headline Reading Festival last night (24 August), and the band closed the festival with a characteristically sweary, pyrotechnic-filled set.
When they played Leeds on Friday, Blink-182 told the crowd, "Reading will be bullshit compared to you." Predictably, last night they changed the sentiment, saying, "I like Reading Festival. Leeds Festival is fucking bullshit."
In a similar set to their Leeds show, the band opened their set with 'Feeling This', followed by crowd favourite 'What's My Age Again?'
Part way through the set, Tom DeLonge told the crowd that his guitar skills had made the entire crowd pregnant, before calling the crowd "dirty little fuckers" for not showering for the festival's duration.
At the end, bassist Mark Hoppus took over from Travis Barker for a solo on the drums, as their signature flaming "FUCK" sign lit up. They're so rebellious it hurts.
