Bloc Party new single 'One Month Off'

Bloc Party announce details of their brand new single One Month Off to be released on Wichita Recordings on 26th January'09. One Month Off produced by 'Silent Alarm' producer Paul Epworth, features on the bands latest album Intimacy.

The album was released digitally via the bands website in August and has been available physically since October. The album has been an international success charting in 14 countries including Top 10 in the UK, Australia, Belgium and Ireland and Top 20 in America. The physical version of the album has shipped more than 350K in three weeks.

The band are currently on a sold out Arena tour of Australia culminating in a show at the 8000capacity Belvoir Amphitheatre in Perth on November 30th, they then head to the States arriving home just in time for Christmas.

The single One Month Off coincides with the bands UK tour in January. This will be the bands first UK tour since December 2007.
