Bloc Party who's second album A Weekend In The City, was released on Monday and is currently sitting at Number One in the album charts, had a run in with a mobile phone thief at their show at the Hexagon in Reading Monday night.
The police were called after a stream of fans reported to the venues security that their mobile phones had gone missing. The police arrived and arrested a man, wearing a wig, who was in possession of over 30 mobile phones. After the concert the Fans were kept back by the police and returned their stolen phones. They were then invited backstage by the band to join in the celebrations for the album being at number One.
