Bob Dylan not only appears in the new Chrysler commercial in song he also voices the ad.
Dylan fans were forewarned that the voice of a generation was about to be seen in a car commercial last week. Many Dylan will be shocked to see the 72 year old legend actually selling a product.
"Is there anything more American than America," Dylan says selling Chrysler's new 200 car in the commercial to the soundtrack of his song 'Things Can Change'.
The ad attempts to appeal to American patriotism Bob obviously doesn't realise that Chrysler is now owned by Fiat, an Italian company.
It is also bound to upset other industry sectors as it suggests it is okay for Americans to buy any other product from anywhere else in the world as long as they buy American cars. 'So let Germany brew your beer, let Switzerland make your watch, let Asia assemble your phone. We will build your car," Dylan says in the commercial.
