Overview
An English publishing house behind some of the rarest limited edition books and prints of the last 35 years, Genesis Publications is now celebrating its latest works with two public art exhibits at SNAP Galleries, London.
The first collection on show is 'Real Moments' an exhibit that presents the award-winning photography of Bob Dylan by Barry Feinstein, seen for the first time in London outside of The National Portrait Gallery.
Barry Feinstein 'I liked Dylan's work, he liked mine. He knew I would make him look interesting - and he was. I knew I was in the presence of genius.'
Running in tandem is 'That Lucky Old Sun' – a series of silkscreen artworks by Pop Artist Sir Peter Blake as a tribute to the music and lyrics of former Beach Boy, Brian Wilson.
Peter Blake: 'This artwork is about Brian looking at somewhere like Venice Beach. It's Brian's California, which I'm very happy to make visual.'
The historic pairing has produced 12 new artworks, all of which are on view.
