Rolling Stone reports that the new album The Lost Notebooks Of Hank Williams assembles rock, jazz and country stars to perform songs inspired by the country icon.
They 'lost notebooks' of the title were found in a leather briefcase Williams owned, following his death in 1953.
The snippets of lyrics and ideas have been interpreted into twelve songs by some big stars.
The line-up includes: Bob Dylan, Norah Jones, Jack White, Jakob Dylan, Lucinda Williams, Vince Gill, Alan Jackson, Patty Loveless, Merle Haggard, Levon Helm and more.
The Lost Notebooks Of Hank Williams is set to be released on October 3.
